Cara memesan makanan di restoran sebenarnya sangat sederhana, hanya saja beberapa orang kebingungan untuk menggunakan ungkapan apa saja yang harus digunakan saat mereka berada di reatoran apalagi jika menggunakan Bahasa Inggris. TAKING AN ORDER	ORDERING FOODS
Are you ready to order? Are you taking an order? What would you like to order? What will you have?	Yes, I’d like steak, please. I’ll have fried rice, please. Fried chicken with rice, please.
Would you like anything to drink? Would you like something to drink? What would you like any dessert? What would you like any fruit or vegetables?	Yes, please. I’ll have tea. Not yet, thanks. Yes, please. I’ll have sweet corn. Yes, I’ll have chocolate pudding please. Yes, I’d like apple, please?
How do you like your food?	Well done, please. Medium. Delicious.

Example 1 

Waiter : Good morning miss/ sir
You         : Good morning
Waiter : Would you like to order now?
You         : Yes, I’ll have meatball, please.
Waiter : Would you like tea, coffe, or juice?
You         : Yes, please. I’ll have tea.
Waiter : Wait a minute, pease.

Example 2

Waitress          :  Good evening sir, welcome to Stanley House, can I help you?
Jason               : Can we have a table for two please.
Waitress          : Please come this way please.
Waitress          : Are you both ready to order now?
Jason               : Yes, we are. Can we have the Sunday roast with vegetables and Chicken salad please?
Waitress           : Would you like anything to drink with your meal?
Jason               : 2 glasses of white wine please.

Waitress          : Would you like to see the dessert menu
Jason               : No thanks, can we have the bill please.

Waiter: Hello, Can I help you?
Kim: Yes, I'd like to have some lunch.
Waiter: Would you like a starter?
Kim: Yes, I'd like a bowl of chicken soup, please.
Waiter: And what would you like for ​your main course?

Kim: I'd like a grilled cheese sandwich.
Waiter: Would you like anything to drink?
Kim: Yes, I'd like a glass of Coke, please.
Waiter... After Kim has her lunch.: Can I bring you anything else?
Kim: No thank you. Just the bill.
Waiter: Certainly.
Kim: I don't have my glasses. How much is the lunch?
